Sodan Selvaretnam Sodan Selvaretnam is a songwriter/singer originally from Sri-Lanka. He subsequently lived in the Philippines, Indonesia and the U.S.A. and music from these regions have influenced his songwriting. Sodan has performed at various venues in New York City including the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. "Close Our Eyes" was written and performed by Sodan and was produced by Uday Benegal and Jayesh Gandhi. Uday Benegal and Jayesh Gandhi were part of India's popular and MTV award winning rock band Indus Creed. Sodan lives today in Los Angeles, California with his wife and two children where he continues to write music and is working for the Walt Disney Company.
